Jensen FF Mark III Uprated Coupe (1970)
Vehicle description
Stealing the limelight at the 1966 London Motor Show was Jensen's new FF with its advanced Ferguson Formula, four-wheel drive and the Dunlop-Maxaret anti-lock braking system. The Torqueflite automatic gearbox was fitted as standard to the FF which could be distinguished externally from the Interceptor by JFF badging. The front of the car was three inches longer with twin side ventilators each side and the grille and headlamp layout was restyled. The FF was powered by the same torquey V8 Chrysler engine as the Interceptor. As the Jensen Brothers worked for Patrick Motors in the early 1930s, designing and building car bodies before setting up their own business in West Bromwich, it was natural that The Patrick Collection should include a representative of the marque. This car was previously owned by Jensen Cars Ltd and in 1983 was ordered for the Collection, to be delivered 'in a fully restored, as new condition, throughout, to Mark III specification'. Aquarius Metallic was the chosen colour with biscuit leather interior and vinyl roof and the car was first registered with The Patrick Collection in 1986. >Download a PDF specification sheet
